WebBessie Mae Downey Rhodes Martin Martin was the youngest of six children and attended grade school in Indianapolis. from Butler University and a Master's from Columbia University in New York City. Despite the oppression our founders faced, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority remained RHOsilient, bold, fervent as they persevered. Our goal is to achieve greater progress in the areas of education, health awareness, and leadership development.
